Friends Membership is free to all Prince William Forest Park advocates and volunteers. Membership is open to everyone. Members not only give of their time through volunteering in the park and community, many frequently choose to contribute through monetary donations. Gifts of any size are used to support the mission of the Friends and promote Prince William Forest Park within the federal, state and local community. Gifts are work to support the mission of the Friends. Donations can be made using PayPal or a credit card, or bring a check to the next meeting or activity.

Donate to the Friends

In previous years, money raised by the Friends of Prince William Forest Park through membership dues and other fundraising activities has gone to support a variety of activities within the park, including:

- historic preservation of cabin camps
- contributing artifacts to the curatorial collection
- sponsoring guest speakers for the OSS Fireside Series
- park benches for the visitor center
- park event support
- annual park pass photo contest
- sponsoring the Park Conservation Award
- co-sponsoring the Prince William Forest Park
