Letter from the President
 

Friends of Prince William Forest Park is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization that was formed in 1989.   Our mission is to advocate for the preservation and enhancement of the natural and cultural resources of Prince William Forest Park, a unit of the National Park Service, in Triangle, Virginia.

  • Monitor community actions affecting the park and ecosystem.
  • Serve as a forum for citizens on government decisions that affect the park.
  • Raise awareness of park issues and activities within the community.
  • Build friendships and partnerships through activities, recreation and volunteering.
  • Raise funds through corporate and individual donations to benefit special park events, community engagement and special projects.

Join the National Park Service, the Friends of Prince William Forest Park, and the Virginia CCC Legacy in honoring the men who served and the work they completed in Virginia CCC. For detailed information, please download the pdf invitation. Registration must received no later than March 25th.

Directions to Cabin Camp 4 from I-95 Exit 152B VA234 towards Manassas approximately 3 miles. Turn left immediately after Travel Trailer Village at Pleasant Road. At the fork turn left, the Theater Building is on the right about a half mile. Click here for map.
